The biggest names in international financial services will gather once again at the fifth annual International Investment Middle East Forum, as we bring together some of the financial advice world’s best-known faces, a host of informative sessions from our sponsors, alongside Q&As and panel discussions at this must-see event.

The Middle East is a firmly established region for international financial services and home to some of the biggest and best known companies on both the financial advice, protection, trusts and taxation services and wealth management front.

Ongoing regulatory reforms, industry and adviser consolidation and the future of advice following on from the global pandemic has seen many businesses realigning their focus for 2023 and beyond.

The panels will look at a period of significant change across the board with uncertainty for expats amid ongoing significant industry changes, consolidation of financial companies and regulatory reforms.

The Advisory and Industry Q&A Sessions will once again see fascinating debates with delegates getting an exclusive chance to hear from and ask questions to top level management of key advisory firms alongside International life providers, Insurtech specialists and fund managers operating in the region.

Who should attend?

Places at the event are reserved specifically for professional investors involved in fund selection in the area from a variety of institutions including:

Attendance is strictly limited to allow a highly effective platform for industry networking as well as the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the investment market in an intimate setting.

Sustainability

International Investment is committed to the journey in becoming more sustainable. By using the guidelines set out by Ecovadis, we will be working towards the accreditation. The goal is to reduce paper consumption across events and improve recycling rates, curb food waste and alter menus with an aim to include locally sourced, organic produce. We have also committed to deliver carbon offsetting at events wherever possible and provide delegates with accessible venues. We will be closely evaluating each event and considering how we can improve in the following areas; energy, transport, water usage, recycling, economic and local environment/community.

Carbon Offsetting

Incisive Media have partnered with Ecosphere+ to ensure all our remaining greenhouse gas emissions are offset. Working with Ecosphere+, we calculate the emissions from all our events, including those from event operations, venues and delegates. We then purchase the equivalent number of carbon offset credits to counter-act our activities. These credits are supporting the protection of vital rainforest in Peru, by funding conservation work and creating sustainable sources of income for locals to minimise incentives for deforestation.
