Best International Pension Plan

Open to groups that international pension plans to individuals working and living abroad. In judging, the panel will focus on why the product was launched, target market, benefits, service, technology and recent enhancements.

Best International Financial Centre

Open to international finance centres. In judging the panel will take into account enabling legislation, involvement at local and international level, future growth prospects and initiatives.

Best International Platform

Open to providers of platforms serving financial advisers, banks, wealth managers, life groups and discretionary fund managers.

Best International Fund Group

Open to fund groups offering an offshore range available in the UK. Fund groups will be subject to an initial performance check by Morningstar. See Methodology for further information of criteria.

Best Family Office

Family offices today play an increasingly important role in wealth management globally. This new award seeks to recognise excellence in this growing sector of the asset management world.

Best Discretionary Fund Manager

Open to discretionary fund managers offering services on an international basis. The panel will take into account the growth of business, and range of products and services offered, including levels of service, use of technology and recent enhancements.

International Campaign of the Year

A new category to recognise excellence in marketing. The award will be given to a single campaign that the judges find particularly striking and innovative, from any financial services company worldwide.

Best ESG Product (NEW)

This is the age of the green investment. Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) values are permeating every sector of the industry, and on every continent. 2019 saw $52bn invested in emerging market green bonds. ESG fund flows have risen 37-fold in just three years. ESG is fast becoming a permanent and mainstream feature of international finance. II is looking forward to championing the very best this nascent sector has to offer.

Excellence in Private Banking

Open to all wealth management companies offering private banking services and products. This award is intended to recognize service levels that go above and beyond the norm.

Excellence in Fintech

The award is designed to recognise the financial services companies that have excelled in the nascent yet vital sector of financial technology, particularly taking into account the impact on client service.

Best International Savings Plan

Open to groups that provide general savings plans that offer international investment solutions for a variety of requirements. The panel will take into account reason why the product was launched, target market, product benefits and recent enhancements.

Best Life Group (UK)

Open to life groups that provide products and services to those in the UK market. The panel will take into account growth of the business, range of products, support to target markets, level of service, technology, recent product enhancements, involvement at industry level.

Best Life Group (Non-UK)

Open to life groups that provide products and services to those in the non-UK market. The panel will take into account growth of the business, range of products, support to target markets, level of service, technology, recent product enhancements, involvement at industry level.

Best Protection Plan

Open to groups that provide life assurance protection plans. The panel will take into account reason why the product was launched, target market, product benefits and recent enhancements.

Best IPMI Provider

The award is designed to recognise the international financial services companies that have excelled in the international private medical insurance sector.

Excellence in Trust and Estate Planning

The award is designed to recognise the international financial services companies that have excelled in the Trust and Estate planning sectors.

Best International Trust Product

Open to groups that provide international trust products. The panel will take into account reason why the product was launched, target market, product benefits and recent enhancements.

Excellence in Client Service (by region) - Industry

An award to acknowledge exceptional client service in financial services. The category is open to all non-advisory companies across the industry.

Excellence in Client Service (by region) - Advisers

An award to acknowledge exceptional client service in the international financial advice sector

Excellence in Advisory Best Practice (by region)

This category is intended to recognise wealth management/financial advisory firms located in and/or operating in any region of the world, which have not only adopted best practices on behalf of their clients, but have gone the extra mile to put in place practices that serve as a beacon for others looking to improve their own businesses.

Woman of the Year (NEW)*

Open to all women in the international financial services industry. This award is open to women of all ages that have made their mark in the industry. Nominees will also be judged against factors including their proven ability to deliver exceptional service levels to clients, and deliver improved service levels over time, along with their own professional development and adoption of clear, sustainable business models in their ongoing role.

Entries are also open to women have been a champion of empowering women in financial services.

European Fund Selector of the Year (NEW)*

Open to all European fund selectors. Nominees will also be judged against factors including their proven ability to deliver excellence in portfolio construction, ongoing service levels to clients, along with their own professional development and adoption of clear, sustainable business models in their ongoing role.

Emerging Talent of the Year

Open all persons under the age of 40 (as at the time of the nomination) in the international financial services industry. Nominees will be judged against factors including their proven onboarding of skills and processes resulting in both professional development and improved customer service levels

Personality of the Year

Open to all persons in the offshore industry. Nominees will be judged against factors including their proven ability to deliver exceptional service levels to clients, and deliver improved service levels over time, along with their own professional development and adoption of clear and sustainable business models in their ongoing role.
